IDEA: Harnessing Your Purchasing Power
Just like you may be swapping out lightbulbs for more 'green' options, consider buying through an online portal that donates some portion of revenue to a cause you cherish. Support smart policies that build a strong America and reinforce businesses with the model of 'doing well by doing good' (making a fair profit while bringing people out of poverty). Through your stock purchases and purchase choices, start paying attention to who is on the team.

The Power of Your Engagement - Just by taking the first step and joining your voice with ours, engaging in the discussion and being willing to look at the problem, you are already a powerful force for change. Now is a good time, because candidates want your vote. Just like you are voting for legislators who insist on higher MPG cars and who are doing something about global warming, you can insist on candidates having a policy for a strong America, a thriving economy and a good democracy - ask them: have they heard of www.inequality.com? Would they say yes to a copy of Pathways Magazine or Faces of Poverty? What's their plan for getting America back on track? How do they plan to incentivize business to be 'good capitalists'? Be an informed voter; make use of the resources at Project Vote Smart.

If you have an idea for a useful resource that should be included, please share it with us for others.
